about
Both Hazel and Barajas have been involved in a number of musical endeavors prior to the birth of Bullet Points. Leading up to the single, "All in Time", the two worked together in Extra Blue Kind, an indie-rock band which found minor success in the early aughts. In 2006, they carved separate paths with respective projects (Beta Male, State) but after an Extra Blue Kind reunion show in 2012, the two began trading ideas again in Hazel's home studio. After genre-jumping through a handful of material, they landed on a sound that became Bullet Points, which Barajas describes as "a macabre dinner party with electronic silhouettes, if I were to be lofty bout it".
